San Cosme is an authentic Mexico City style puesto (street food stand), serving tortas – sandwiches done a la plancha in buttered soft telera bread stuffed with assorted fillings along with our pickled jalapeños. We also prepare other street-style indulgences called antojitos: churros – fried dough pastries with cajeta caramel; elotes – corn on the cob with crema, cotija cheese, chile & lime; esquites – delicious corn stew with serranos & epazote. We source from Kensington market: Sanagan’s Meat Locker, Black Bird Baking Co., Global Cheese & Castle Fruit.
