Late Night, Grill.

In their own words:

El Rancho is a landmark of Spanish & Latin American cuisine, best known for it’s fine dining and salsa dancing! We are prominently located 3 store fronts north east corner of College and Bathurst in downtown Toronto. It opened in 1979 at it’s present location.

Prior to 1979, El Rancho (formerly El Borinquen) was operating on the 2nd floor of Sneaky Dee’s in the south east corner of College and Bathurst, just across the street of El Rancho today. in 1979, Ramón Calero, a businessman, saw the potential when the owner of a restaurant at 430 College Street decided to sell the business… And the rest is history. Until then, it was the destination of choice to experience for anything Spanish & Latin American Cuisine and dancing. Presently, still going strong, many of the regulars, loyal supporters and patrons are still with us today… Many met their life’s partner at El Rancho and the place to be for tourists, celebrities and famous public personalities visiting Toronto, which you can view their photos at the front entrance lobby and a top header slider photo is showcased in this website. Celebrities such as: Marc Anthony, Whoopi Goldberg, Shirley Maclaine, 1987-1989 James Bond Timothy Dalton and many more…
